Fictionist puts forth a perfect mix of synth and rhythm. Fictionist, formed in Provo, Utah, features Stuart Maxfield (vocals), Robert Connolly (vocals), Aaron Anderson (drums), and Brandon Kitterman (guitar, bass). They released a new EP, Free Spirit, on July 29, 2016, via Harbour/Caroline Records. The EP reveals a modern, yet classy sound, namely on the title track, "Free Spirit;" it also includes tracks such as "High Society" and "Right Now."
